Unit prices
The same on every plan. A request that does several things to one file is still one unit.

Questions
Is there a free tier?
No. A test key runs the real engine on our published sample files at no cost, so you can build and check your integration before you pay for anything.
What is never charged?
A request that fails. A file we cannot make smaller, which is returned unchanged. Anything sent with a test key.
How does pay as you go work?
It is the smallest plan: $20.00 a month, and all of it counts towards your usage. Usage beyond that is charged at the unit prices at the end of each month, or sooner whenever unbilled usage reaches $25.00.
What does a plan change?
A larger plan is a monthly fee that includes more usage than it costs, with higher rate limits. Usage beyond the included amount is charged at the same unit prices. Included usage does not carry over to the next month.
Can I cap what I spend?
Yes. Every account has a monthly spend cap that you set in the dashboard. When it is reached, live requests are refused until the next month or until you raise it.
Do prices include tax?
No. Sales tax or VAT is added where it applies. Businesses can enter a tax ID in the dashboard so it appears on invoices.
What happens if a payment fails?
The card is retried over the following days and you are emailed. If the invoice stays unpaid, live keys stop working until it is paid.
