You send customers. We pay you.

Anyone aged 18 or over with a smolmac.com account can join. There is no application and no waiting: your link works as soon as you accept these terms. One affiliate account per person or business.

We can suspend or close an affiliate account that breaks these terms. If we do, section 09 says what happens to money you have already earned.

Your link is any smolmac.com address with ?via= and your code on the end. When someone follows it, we remember your code in a first-party cookie in their browser for 60 days.

• A sale is yours when the buyer followed your link within the 60 days before buying.
• If the buyer followed more than one affiliate’s link, the most recent one gets the sale.
• We can only credit what we can see. A buyer who blocks cookies, clears them, or switches device between your link and the purchase may not be matched to you. If you believe a sale was missed, write to us with what you know and we will look.

• 40% of what the customer is charged for the Smol Mac app: Solo, Team and Enterprise licences.
• 50% once you are selling steadily. When you have 25 credited sales in the last 90 days, every further sale earns 50% for as long as that stays true.
• 50% for founding affiliates. If you join in the program’s first 90 days (by 7 January 2027), you earn 50% on every sale for your first 6 months.
• At most $1,000 per order. A very large Enterprise order pays the cap, not the percentage.

The rate that applies is the one in force when the sale is made, and it is recorded with the sale. A rate we agree with you in writing replaces the ones above.

A commission becomes payable 30 days after the sale, provided the sale still stands. If the payment is refunded, reversed or disputed, the commission goes with it.

If that happens after we have already paid you for the sale, the amount comes off your next payout. We do not ask you to send money back.

• We pay once a month, on or shortly after the 1st, to the PayPal address in your settings.
• You are paid when at least $20 is payable. A smaller balance stays yours and carries over.
• Payouts are in US dollars. We pay PayPal’s sending fee. If PayPal converts the money, its rate applies.
• You need a PayPal account that can receive payments where you live. If a payout fails or is not claimed, the money goes back on your balance and we try again the next month.
• If you replace your PayPal address, we email your account about it and wait 7 days before paying to the new one. This protects you if someone else gets into your account.

These exist so that a commission always means a real customer you actually sent.

• Say you earn a commission. Tell your audience, clearly and near the link, that you are paid when they buy. Most countries require it; so do we.
• Say only what is true. You can quote anything on our benchmark page, including where Smol loses. Do not invent numbers, reviews or endorsements, and do not claim more than that page shows.
• No buying through your own link. Purchases by you, or made on a browser you use as an affiliate, earn nothing.
• No ads on our name. Do not bid on “Smol”, “Smolmac” or misspellings of them in paid search, and do not send ads straight to smolmac.com.
• No coupon, cashback or paid-to-click traffic. Do not list your link on coupon or cashback sites, and do not pay or reward people for clicking or buying.
• No tricks. No spam, no hidden frames or automatic redirects that set the cookie without a real click, no pretending to be Smol, and no domain or account name that uses ours.

A sale that looks close to you, for example from your own network or in a burst just after you joined, is held until a person has looked at it. Most are approved.

While you are an affiliate you may use the Smol name, logo and screenshots from your dashboard to promote Smol. Use them as supplied, do not suggest that Smol wrote or endorses your content, and stop using them if you leave the program.

Your name, email, PayPal address, country, the site you told us about, and a scrambled record of the network you joined from, which we use only to spot purchases made by affiliates themselves. We also keep the clicks and sales your link produced. Our privacy policy covers the rest.

You never see who bought. Your dashboard shows the plan, the amount, the country and the date of a sale, not the buyer.

• Changes. We may change these terms. A change that lowers what you earn applies only to sales made at least 30 days after we email you about it.
• Leaving. You can stop at any time; write to us and we close your account. Commissions already earned are paid as usual once they clear the hold and reach the minimum.
• Closing the program. If we end the program we give 30 days’ notice and pay everything that clears.
• If you break the rules. Commissions that came from breaking section 06 are cancelled. Commissions from genuine sales are still paid.

• You act for yourself. You are not our employee, agent or partner, and you cannot make promises on our behalf.
• You are responsible for any tax on what you earn. Where the law requires us to collect tax details before paying you, we will ask for them.
• We do not promise any level of sales or earnings.
• Our total liability to you under this program is limited to the commissions we owe you and have not paid.
• Everything else, including which law applies and where disputes are heard, follows the Smol Terms of Service.
